Go to Recent Studies

In our quest ‘to contend for the faith which was once for all delivered to us’ (Jude 1:3), we will continue our study on modern day false teachings that secretly crept in as ‘waves of doctrine, by the trickery of men and by craftiness in deceitful scheming,’  (Eph 4:14). These teachings and doctrines, we believe, are paving the way for a great deception that is already at work to draw mankind into one world religion (Rev 13:15; 2 Thes 2:4), paving the way for the Antichrist who will receive authority to rule the earth for three-and-a-half years, (Dan 7:25; Rev 13:6-8). This ‘man of lawlessness’ will appear with ‘power and signs and wonders, and with the deception of wickedness,’ (2 Thes 2:9-10).

The battle, according to 2 Thessalonians 2, is over the mind, and thus we are to love and seek truth in order to ‘gird our minds for action, and to keep sober in spirit,’ (1 Peter 1:13). We will expose false teachings and false teachers, solely for the purpose of pursuing a pure Gospel, and not to condemn or degrade people.

The counter arguments will be that one should ‘not judge,’ that we should ‘keep unity’ in the body, and that ‘God is love,’ YET the foundation laid by the prophets and the apostles is clear:

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the Antichrist. Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works. (2 John 1:7-11)

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
